Avissawella-Colombo road submerged after torrential rains

The Avissawella-Colombo main road is blocked for vehicular movement this evening (Oct. 31) at the Puwakpitiya area in Hingurala, Ada Derana correspondent says.

The road was submerged after the area was pounded by heavy rainfall earlier today.
