These Finagle cookies have been manufactured using ingredients specially flown in from Denmark, the country considered as the makers of the most delicious cookies in the world. It is also prepared according to a special traditional recipe from Denmark.

The Finagle Multi Seed Health Bread with its 54 unit Glycemic Index (GI) – the only Low GI bakery product in the island introduced by Finagle recently, has taken the fancy of the nourishment and health conscious Sri Lankans.

Glycemic Index is the result of a process to grade the ratio of carbohydrates that affect glucose ratio in the blood. After consumption of normal bread, the level of glucose in the blood stream increases rapidly during digestion.

When Low GI foods assist in the control of this phenomenon and also help to gradually lower the sugar level in the blood.

Also, scientific research has revealed that seeds from sunflower, melon, several pulses, rye, oats, malt etc when consumed lower the GI ratio.

The Finagle Multi Seed Health Bread has been certified by Oxford Brookes University of the United Kingdom as conforming to the 54 unit Glycemic Index.

While the Finagle Multi Seed Health Bread is useful for those suffering from diabetes it also helps others to avoid this ailment. It also reduces the risks of heart ailments.

While always considering the providing of high nutrition and quality bakery products to the nation, Finagle Lanka uses red rice, kurakkan, garlic, karapincha and fresh virgin coconut oil in the production of ‘Finagle Nutri Bread’.

Established in Sri Lanka in 2001 with an investment of Rs. 210 million, one of the largest bakery producers in the island, Finagle Lanka is a joint venture of Finagle a Bagel, Phoenix Ventures and Golden Oven of the USA.

Finagle Lanka currently enjoys a 54 percent market share of the sandwich bread sales in the island. It also is the first and only bakery products manufacturer in Sri Lanka to posses the ISO 22000:2005 standards quality certification.

While Finagle Lanka has also obtained that HACCP as well as the Halal certifications, it uses the best quality 100 per cent high protein Prima wheat flour, making Finagle Lanka the third highest buyer of wheat flour in the island.

“Our company always strives to provide bakery products of international quality and better nutrition to its customers. This has attracted customer loyalty towards our brands islandwide. The ‘Finagle Multi Seed Health Bread’ introduced recently now enjoys great demand.
