Trains delayed on coastal line

Train services on the coastal line have been delayed after a train colliding with a bull this evening, the Railway Control Room announced.

The ‘Sagarika’ express train plying from Maradana to Beliatta had thus collided with a bull on the tracks between Wadduwa and Pinwatta railway stations.

The train has suffered a technical issue following the accident, according to the Department of Railways.
