Parts of Colombo inundated after heavy rainfall

Several areas in Colombo have been inundated due to downpours this evening (18), Ada Derana reporter said.

Accordingly, the Armour Street, Thunmulla Junction and the High-Level Road at Kirulapone are submerged in water, according to the reporter.

Meanwhile, it is reported that heavy traffic congestion is observed within the areas, owing to the situation.
