November 22, 2023   07:38 am

Train services on the up-country line have been disrupted owing to an earth slip on the tracks between Ohiya and Idalgashinna railway stations, the Sri Lanka Railways said.

Owing to the situation, the Colombo - Badulla night mail train has been stopped at Ohiya railway station.

The railway department said it would take at least 3 hours to clear the tracks and restore the operations on the up-country line.
