2022 A/L exam: Special notice for students accepted into state universities

The students who have been accepted into state universities based on their 2022(23) G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination results are due to receive an SMS today (01 Dec.), with more information in this regard.

Accordingly, students will be informed of the university and the course they have been accepted into via an SMS, Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Prof. Sampath Amaratunga said.

The results of the 2022(23) A/L exams came out online on 04 September, followed by the release of re-scrutinized results on 24 November. A total of 232,797 school applicants and 31,136 private applicants had sat for the exam, and out of them, 149,487 school applicants and 17,451 private applicants had qualified for university admission.
