Train services disrupted on up-country line due to derailment

Train services along the up-country railway line have been disrupted owing to the derailment of a train between Nawalapitiya and Ulapane railway stations, the Railway Control Room said.
Accordingly, an office train plying from Nawalapitiya to Kandy has derailed in this manner, according to the Department of Railways.
The slow train in question had departed the Nawalapitiya station at around 4.25 p.m. this evening.
