Derailment disrupts train operations on Upcountry Line

A train plying on the Upcountry Line derailed between Uduwara and Hali-Ela railway stations at around 5 p.m. today (Dec.23).
According to Ada Derana correspondent, train services along the Upcountry Line have been disrupted following the derailment.
As a result, the Colombo-bound night mail train from Badulla and several other trains are likely to experience delays.
