Police nab associate of ‘Badowita Asanka’ with drugs and weapons

A 35-year-old suspect, believed to be an associate of the notorious underworld figure known as ‘Badowita Asanka’, was arrested by the Police Special Task Force (STF) during the ongoing anti-drug operation ‘Yukthiya’.
The suspect, identified as a resident of Dehiwala, was arrested with 06 grams of heroin, 10 grams of Kerala cannabis, 05 swords, a sharp weapon and Rs. 467,000 in cash, according to police.
