Crowd surge reported in Jaffna as Indian Singer Hariharan’s concert kicks-off

A crowd surge was reported in the Jaffna area last night (09), as the concert conducted by the veteran Indian playback singer and film score composer Hariharan at ‘Mutraveli’ Stadium in Jaffna cheered up with a heavy crowd of fans.

Meanwhile the huge crowds of people who came to the concert had tried to enter the venue forcefully disregarding the police security, Ada Derana reporter said.

Several people have also been injured due to the crowd crush, however, the police managed to resolve the situation.

A number of South Indian actresses and actors including Tamannaah and Ramba also took part in the concert.
