CWC loses Radhakrishnan who is to be independent

CeylonWorkers’ Congress (CWC) Nuwara Eliya District Parliamentarian V. Radhakrishnan has said that he will act as an independent member in Parliament while supporting the Government.

 

 

He said that the CWC has neglected his request for a Deputy Ministerial post and that the party has continued to neglect him in party matters.

 

 

Mr. Radhakrishnan added that the reason might have been his invitation from the Up-country Peoples Front (UPF) of late P. Chandrasekeran which invited him to take over its leadership. He had refused the invitation, but the CWC may have misunderstood the issue.


V.S. Radhakrishnan is a CWC member who contested under the United People’s Freedom Alliance at the last General Elections.
