CSE’s All Share Price Index crosses 11,000-point mark

The All Share Price Index (ASPI) of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) surpassed 11,000 points today (March 07) for the first time since October 05, 2023.

The ASPI closed at 11,045.90 points at the end of trading today, marking an increase of 1.51% (164.18 points) from the previous day.

Meanwhile, the S&P SL20 closed at 3,147.45 points today, up by 1.52% (47.15 points) from the previous day.

More than 160 million shares were traded overall within the day and the market turnover topped Rs. 2.63 billion.
