A 23-year-old woman has been arrested while in possession of narcotics including crystal methamphetamine (‘Ice’).

 

The arrest was made in Semmannodai village in Valaichchenai, based on a tip-off received by the Valaichchenai STF camp.

 

Accordingly, the STF officers managed to impound 53 grams of ‘Ice’, 24 grams of Kerala cannabis, 2,950 narcotic pills and Rs. 86,000 in cash upon searching a house in the village.

 

The female suspect has been handed over to the Valaichchenai Police for further investigations.
