Retired Auxiliary Bishop Marius Peiris passes away

The retired Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus of Colombo, His Lordship the most Rev. Dr. Marius Peiris has passed away, the Archdiocese of Colombo announced.
Most Rev. Dr. Marius Peiris was aged 83 at the time of passing.
Meanwhile, the National Catholic Director of Mass Communications Rev. Fr. Jude Krishantha stated that funeral arrangements will be notified later.
