Police have arrested a woman who was in possession of heroin during the operation ‘Yukthiya’ carried out in the Wellampitiya area in the Grandpass police division.
The Police Special Task Force (STF) arrested the woman, identified by the alias “Wellampitiya Kudu Rejina”, with 7 grams and 280 milligrams of heroin during the operation yesterday (27) and handed over the suspect to Grandpass Police for further investigations.
