Fallen tree disrupts traffic on Colombo-Kandy main road

UPDATE 07.10 p.m. : The Colombo-Kandy main road has been restored for traffic as the fallen tree at Warakapola has been cleared, the Police Spokesman DIG Nihal Thalduwa said.


The vehicular movement on Colombo-Kandy main road has been disrupted due to a tree fallen across the road near the Warakapola town, the police said.

Police spokesman DIG Nihal Thalduwa said that therefore, the motorists are urged to use alternate routes.
