STF seize Kerala cannabis worth Rs. 10 million at Point Pedro

A suspect has been arrested with a haul of Kerala cannabis by the Special Task Force (STF) in Yakkaru Police during a joint operation conducted in the Vallipuram coastal area of Point Pedro, Jaffna.

Based on information provided by the Military Intelligence Corps of the Sri Lanka Army yesterday (8), they have successfully apprehended a 25-year-old man in possession of 60kg of cannabis worth Rs 10 million, packed in two sacks.

The Yakkaru Police Special Task Force is continuing further investigations into the matter.
