Unidentified body found in Kayts

The body of an unidentified individual has been discovered in the Madaththaveli area of Kayts.


Police said that investigations were initiated after the Kayts Police received information about the incident last evening (14th).


An autopsy has been carried out, but the identity of the deceased remains unknown.


Police mentioned that the deceased is aged between 45 and 50 years and approximately 05 feet 02 inches tall.


The body has been placed in Jaffna Hospital. Further investigations are being conducted by the Kayts Police.
