One person drowns in Paanama Beach

Police stated that a person has drowned in while bathing in the sea area off Panama Beach yesterday (15).

The deceased is a 34-year-old resident of Kalmunai area.

He had drowned while bathing in the sea while he was brought ashore by residents of the area and then rushed to the Paanama Hospital.

 However, he was pronounced dead on admission to the hospital.

Police are conducting further investigations related to the incident.
