Lotus Road in Colombo blocked due to protest

The Lotus Road in Colombo Fort has been blocked for traffic owing to a protest march by university non-academic staff, Ada Derana reporter said.

Accordingly, it is reported that the road has been completely closed for vehicular movement resulting in severe traffic congestion in the area.
 
The relevant protest march has been organized by the University Trade Union Joint Committee (UTUJC).
