Litro gas prices to remain unchanged for June

The Litro Gas Company has decided not to make any revisions to domestic Litro LP gas prices for the month of June, the Litro Gas Lanka Limited said.

The company stated that despite increases in global LP gas prices and the depreciation of the Sri Lankan rupee, domestic gas prices will remain unchanged for June.

Litro Gas Lanka Limited further noted that disciplined cost management measures, continuous sales growth, and strong profitability from other business segments have enabled the company to build sufficient financial stability to offset cost pressures. As a result, it said it is able to provide relief to consumers by maintaining current price levels.

Accordingly, for the Colombo District, the price of a 12.5 kg domestic gas cylinder remains at Rs. 4,765, while a 5 kg cylinder will continue to be sold at Rs. 1,910 and a 2.3 kg cylinder at Rs. 890.
