Two arrested over Sahaspura murder

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a murder of a man who was allegedly attacked with a sharp weapon in the Halgahawatta area of Sahaspura, police stated.
According to police, the murder was committed in the early hours of Wednesday (03), while the suspects were arrested yesterday (05) following investigations conducted by the Sahaspura Police.
The suspects were apprehended by officers attached to the Sahaspura Police Station in the Madampitiya area.
The suspects, aged 21 and 23, have been identified as residents of Borella, police said.
Sahaspura Police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
