Three including 2 women drown in Norochcholai

Three individuals have drowned while bathing at the Daluwa Estuary in Norochcholai, said police.

 

The deceased have been identified as two young women, aged 18 and 19, and a 25-year-old man.

 

Police stated that the tragic incident occurred today at around 5:30 p.m. this evening (6).

 

It has been revealed that all three victims were residents of the Puttalam area.

 

Further investigations into the incident are being conducted by the Norochcholai Police.
