220kg of Kerala cannabis seized in STF operation in Jaffna

A total of 102 parcels of Kerala cannabis weighing 220 kilograms have been discovered in the Antonypuram area of Jaffna.

The seizure was made during a joint operation conducted today (07) by officers of the Police Special Task Force (STF) and the Sri Lankan Army based on intelligence information.

Sri Lankan Army states that the stock of cannabis is estimated to have a street value of around Rs. 36 million.

Further investigations are being carried out by Palaly Police.
