10 injured in bus accident near Pinnaduwa Interchange

Around 10 people sustained injuries in a bus accident that occurred near the Pinnaduwa Interchange on the Southern Expressway this evening (08).
According to reports, the bus, which was travelling from Colombo to Galle, crashed through a safety gate at the Pinnaduwa entrance before colliding with a nearby pole.
Police officers and expressway personnel jointly carried out rescue operations and transported the injured individuals to the Galle National Hospital for treatment.
Expressway Police have launched further investigations into the incident.
