The West Indies secured a hard-fought, five-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in the third and final Twenty20 International (T20I) at Sabina Park today, thereby clinching the three-match series 2-1.
After being put in to bat first by the hosts, Sri Lanka struggled to establish substantial partnerships and was bowled out for 169 runs in exactly 20 overs.
In reply, the West Indies successfully overhauled the 170-run target, finishing on 170 for the loss of 5 wickets with two balls to spare (19.4 overs) to seal a dramatic series victory.
