
An International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation led by IMF Mission Chief for Sri Lanka, Evan Papageorgiou, is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka from June 24 to 30 for a staff-level mission aimed at reviewing the country’s ongoing economic reform programme.
According to Papageorgiou, the IMF team will hold discussions with government authorities and a wide range of stakeholders to assess recent economic developments and evaluate the progress of Sri Lanka’s reform program.
The IMF Mission Chief stated that the delegation looks forward to “constructive and productive discussions” during the week-long visit.
