2027 Budget Speech scheduled for November 12

The second reading of the Appropriation Bill for the year 2027 (Budget Speech) is scheduled to be presented in Parliament on November 12, 2026.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the Appropriation Bill will be published in the Government Gazette on September 18, while its first reading is scheduled for October 7, 2026.
The draft Appropriation Bill for 2027, which includes expenditure estimates for each ministry, is due to be submitted to the Cabinet for approval on September 14, 2026.
The debate on the second reading of the Budget will be held from November 13 to November 20, while the Committee Stage debate is scheduled to take place from November 21 to December 14, the Ministry of Finance said.
