Rs. 11.83 billion in July Aswesuma benefits to be credited today

The Aswesuma welfare benefits for the month of July will be credited to beneficiaries' bank accounts today (15), the Welfare Benefits Board has announced.

 

Accordingly, a sum of nearly Rs. 11.83 billion is set to be disbursed to beneficiaries.

 

Under the first phase of the programme, more than Rs. 9.35 billion will be credited to the bank accounts of 1,012,812 beneficiary families.

 

In the second phase, a further Rs. 2.46 billion will be credited to the Aswesuma accounts of 211,647 beneficiary families, according to the Board.

 

In total, 1,224,459 beneficiary families will receive payments amounting to Rs. 11,825,596,250 under the two phases of the Aswesuma Welfare Benefits Scheme today, the Board said.
