Applications called for 2026 national school teacher transfers

The Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education has called for online applications for the 2026 annual and compulsory teacher transfers for teachers serving in national schools.

 

According to the Ministry, applications must be submitted online through the National School Teacher Transfer portal (http://nstt.moe.gov.lk) from July 16 to July 30.

 

Following the online submission, applicants are required to print the application and submit the hard copy to the principal of the school where they receive their salary on or before July 31.

 

The Ministry further stated that applications submitted in person by teachers or sent by post will not be accepted.
