Speeding car overturns in Moratuwa, four sustain minor injuries

A car accident occurred near Princess of Wales College in Moratuwa, after a vehicle veered off the road and overturned, police said.
The car, travelling at high speed from Moratuwa towards Colombo this evening (19), reportedly lost control, crashed through the safety barrier in the middle of the road and entered the opposite lane before overturning.
The vehicle sustained severe damage in the accident. Four people were travelling in the car at the time of the incident, but none of them sustained serious injuries, according to reports.
The accident caused heavy traffic congestion in the area.
Moratuwa Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
