New Secretary appointed to Transport Ministry

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed Eng. (Dr.) Asiri Karunawardena as the new Secretary to the Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development.

 

The letter of appointment was presented to Dr. Karunawardena this afternoon (22) at the Presidential Secretariat by the Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake.

 

Dr. Karunawardena previously served as the Director General of the National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) before assuming his new position, the President’s Media Division said in a statement.
