Ex-President Gotabaya Rajapaksa arrives at Appeals Court
Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa arrived at the Court of Appeal today (23) to observe proceedings related to a petition filed seeking an order preventing his arrest in connection with investigations into the 2019 Easter Sunday terror attacks.
The petition, submitted in relation to the ongoing investigations into the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks, is being considered by the Court of Appeal.
Rajapaksa was present in court as the matter was taken up for hearing, Ada Derana reporter said.
