The Department of Examinations has announced that the 2026 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination will be held on August 9, 2026, from 9.30 a.m. to 12.15 p.m., at 2,723 examination centres across the island.
The Department said that the attendance records of candidates who applied for the examination have been forwarded to the relevant Zonal Education Offices through their respective schools.
It further announced that if any amendments to candidates' information are required, the facility has been provided to make such corrections online from today (23) to August 03.
Accordingly, the amendments can be made by visiting the Department’s website ‘ www.doenets.lk ’ and accessing the “Exam Information Centre” under “Our Services” section or through the online examination service system ‘ onlineexams.gov.lk ’.
