The Western Province branch of the Petroleum Distributors’ Association is scheduled to be inaugurated tomorrow (9), according to the association.
The association stated that steps were taken to establish the branch promptly, as the Western Province has the highest number of petroleum distributors in the country.
According to the Petroleum Distributors’ Association, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has so far failed to provide satisfactory solutions to the issues faced by petroleum distributors.
The new branch is being established with the objective of addressing these concerns and securing solutions to the problems faced by its members.
Regional branches of the association have already been established in all districts, with the exception of Kurunegala and Jaffna.
The association further stated that measures will be taken in the future to establish branches covering those two districts as well.
