A 22-year-old individual has been arrested with a stock of ecstasy pills during a raid at an apartment complex in Modarawila, Panadura.

 

The arrest was made by officers attached to the Organised Crime Prevention Unit of the Panadura-Horana Police Special Task Force.

 

Police had seized 810 ecstasy pills and two swords allegedly found in the suspect’s possession.

 

The Police Special Task Force has reportedly identified the suspect as an individual allegedly linked to an organised criminal group.

 

The suspect and the seized items have been handed over to the Panadura South Police Station for further investigations.
