
The intervening petitions filed in connection with the petition submitted by former Director of the State Intelligence Service (SIS), Suresh Sallay, challenging his arrest and detention in connection with investigations into the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks, were taken up for hearing before the Court of Appeal today.
Attorneys representing the intervening petitioners made their submissions before the Court during the hearing, said Ada Derana reporter.
Following the submissions, the Court of Appeal ordered that further consideration of the case be postponed until August 25.
