Sonal Dinusha hits maiden Test century against India in Galle

Sri Lanka’s 25-year-old left-hander Sonal Dinusha scored his maiden Test century in the opening Test against India at the Galle International Cricket Stadium a short while ago.

 

Playing in his fourth Test match, Dinusha reached his century off 167 deliveries, hitting four boundaries and two sixes.

 

Dinusha also combined with Niroshan Dickwella for a crucial 146-run partnership for the sixth wicket.

 

Sri Lanka are currently 274 for 8 in their first innings. India, who won the toss, scored 462 in their first innings.
