Man hacked to death following argument in Kekirawa

A 56-year-old man has been attacked to death at a residence in the Kottalbadda area within the Kekirawa Police Division this morning (23), police said.
According to police, the incident had occurred following an argument between the deceased and a neighbor during a party held at the victim’s residence.
The argument had escalated, resulting in the neighbor allegedly attacking the 56-year-old man using a sharp weapon, police said.
The victim, a resident of Kottalbadda has succumbed to his injuries, according to police.
The suspect has reportedly fled the area following the incident.
Kekirawa Police have launched an investigation and are conducting further inquiries to arrest the suspect.
