Retired Colonel Ranjith Rajasinghe appointed new Chairman of Civil Aviation Authority

Colonel (Retired) Ranjith Rajasinghe has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL). 

 

Rajasinghe is expected to assume duties as Chairman on August 25, succeeding Sunil Jayaratne, who has resigned from the position. 

 

The Civil Aviation Authority is responsible for regulating and overseeing Sri Lanka's civil aviation sector, including aviation safety and related regulatory functions.
