
India declared their first innings at 503 for nine in 138 overs against Sri Lanka on the second day of the second Test at the Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) in Colombo.
Wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel top-scored with a superb 115, while India’s lower order helped push the total past the 500-run mark before captain Shubman Gill called the batters in.
Sri Lanka pacer Asitha Fernando was the pick of the bowlers, finishing with 4/106, while Prabath Jayasuriya claimed two wickets
