A 17-year-old youth has been killed using a sharp weapon in the Nadurana area of Eheliyagoda.
Police said the killing had occurred following a dispute between two groups that escalated.
The deceased has been identified as a resident of Arapola, Eheliyagoda.
The suspect had fled the area, and Eheliyagoda Police are conducting further investigations to arrest him.
