A person has been killed after allegedly being attacked using a sharp weapon by his own son in the Ukuwela area of Matale.
The deceased has been identified as a 40-year-old resident of Ukuwela, Matale, police said.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the incident had occurred following a dispute between the father and son.
The 16-year-old suspect has been arrested, while Matale Police are conducting further investigations.
