Defendants in Easter Sunday attacks trial present written submissions
The 24 defendants facing 23,270 charges in connection with the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks filed their written submissions before the Colombo High Court Trial-at-Bar.
Following the submission of the written submissions, the Colombo High Court Trial-at-Bar Bench announced that the verdict in the case will be delivered on September 22.
The case was heard before a three-judge High Court Bench comprising Justices Navaratne Marasinghe, Ramanathan Kannan, and Sujeewa Nissanka, said Ada Derana reporter.
During the proceedings, the defendants presented their written submissions.
The case was filed by the Attorney General against 24 accused, including Naufer Moulavi.
