Delayed vehicle number plates to be issued within 6 months - DMT

The Department of Motor Traffic (DMT) states that all vehicle number plates that faced delays in issuance will be provided within a period of six months.

 

Commissioner General of the DMT, Air Vice Marshal (Retd.) Thushara Fernando stated that following the completion of the issuance of all pending number plates, arrangements will be made to deliver number plates within one week of registering a vehicle hereafter.

 

He made these remarks while speaking at a media briefing held in Colombo today (09).
