
Former Minister Duminda Dissanayake and another woman were indicted before the Colombo High Court today in connection with the discovery of a gold-plated firearm.
The indictments were formally served on the two accused when the case was taken up before the Colombo High Court, said Ada Derana reporter.
Following the filing of the indictments, the High Court Judge ordered the accused, including the former minister, to be released on bail.
The case relates to the discovery of the gold-plated firearm, with further proceedings to continue before the Colombo High Court.
