Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has arrived at the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) today (11) to record a statement regarding investigations into the MiG aircraft deal.

 

He had been summoned to provide a statement to investigators today pertaining to the controversial transaction.

 

Meanwhile, former Air Force Commander, Air Chief Marshal Roshan Goonetileke, had also arrived at the FCID last morning (10) to provide a statement in connection with the same investigation.

 

He had left the premises after providing a statement for more than five hours, yesterday.
