Over 2,100 Dengue cases reported in first 13 days of September
The National Dengue Control Unit says a total of 97,637 dengue cases have been reported in Sri Lanka so far this year.
According to the Unit, 74 people have died from dengue during the same period.
Meanwhile, 2,146 dengue cases have been reported during the first 13 days of September.
Gampaha District has recorded the highest number of dengue cases, with 20,742 cases reported so far this year.
Colombo follows with 19,235 cases, while Kandy and Kalutara districts have recorded 7,291 and 6,247 cases, respectively.
