
The case filed against three defendants, including former Minister of Fisheries Rajitha Senaratne, over allegations that they caused a financial loss to the government by leasing the Mutwal Fisheries Harbour to a private company in 2012, was taken up for further hearing before the Colombo High Court today (14).
The case was heard before Colombo High Court Judge Mohamed Mihail, said Ada Derana reporter.
During the proceedings, evidence was recorded from witnesses presented by the prosecution, following which defence counsel conducted cross-examinations.
The further hearing of the case was subsequently adjourned until November 17.
