19-year-old arrested with 950 narcotic pills in Peliyagoda
A 19-year-old individual has been arrested with 950 narcotic pills during a raid in Peliyagoda yesterday (15), the Western Province North Crime Division said.
A team of officers attached to the division carried out the raid in Peliyagoda last evening following information received by them.
The suspect, a resident of Peliyagoda, was taken into custody with 950 pills allegedly in his possession.
The Western Province North Crime Division is conducting further investigations into the incident.
